Jira Gitlab Integration - Create A New Branch Button
Jira Gitlab integration - New branch button allows you to create new branch directly from GitLab. Jira supports Jira issue that have been created and are already configured to track new branches. You can also use the issue title and description.
The Jira Gitlab integration addon displays a new Create branch button on the issue overview page. If you click it, a modal appears.
You can specify a name for the branch and a reference where it will be created from. After clicking the button you will be directed to GitLab where it will be created under. Currently only one project/repo supported. For performing the branch creation the addon uses the GitLab API endpoints.
If the branch created successfully then you will get a notification. If it failed then you will see browser alerts. You can find all settings and configure the extension in the settings page.
